Hey man, I'm 26points as well...never expected to see a 26 pointer post :p i thought i'm all lowest in points here. Good luck to you, this is the last month of my application RLMT so i won't have any chance now!
sounds like the most likely case this month. Everyone above 41 will be approved and if there are sufficient leftovers, 40 will be considered.shide44 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 12:34 pmIf you are on 41points or above, surely you just need to follow-up with your lawyers. If there is no issues with your application then you should be cleared.
I have a feeling they've made the cut-off at 41p this month and are just reviewing those on 41 and above. Then if there is capacity left then maybe they will offer it to 40p - at least i hope so.
It is really bizare that its almost the end of the day with no updates. I haven't been applying long. has there been a month where there was no confirmation this late?batman1909 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 3:30 pmSurprising that there is no update today. Hope people who get approvals/refusals post their status on the portal.
I am in the same boat. Did they give you an indication on when they think they will have an answer for you?Fingerscrossed18 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 4:39 pmJust spoke to immigration lawyer and my application is still under review, waiting with 40 points.
Having a quick look at the numbers, while doctors and nurses make up 1/3 of all applications, they, in fact, make up a higher percentage of the total granted. Which explains why the points required dropped so low once they were removed. I think over the next couple of months it will drop back to the normal amounts before december where the caps are rarely reached. I would say though that this will prob not be the case until November/December.londondreams2018 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 4:03 pmAn interesting FOI. I had set an alert and the response just came in on this one.

Mathematically this doesn't make sense. There is a good breakdown of the numbers that someone posted on page three, likely the points will drop below 30 (if not to 21) next month as the majority of the people stuck were at 45+, with a small group at 35. The rCOS available are still high through August.shide44 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 4:56 pmHaving a quick look at the numbers, while doctors and nurses make up 1/3 of all applications, they, in fact, make up a higher percentage of the total granted.
