I have tier 5 visa now, have 30pts just applied this month and got refusal today... non sol, non phd, non nhs
Why is your visa expiring an issue?? You cant switch in country anyway. If your sponsor still wishes to employ you, nothing stops them from doing so if they can get RCoS approval.
No. You can’t switch in country from a tier 5 visa, especially the Youth Mobility. You can apply for the CoS from anywhere but you will not be able to switch in country.
Second this, you must leave the country after Tier 5 to apply for Tier 2.
I think you all don't understand what he meant to say.. He is well aware that he needs to leave the country to apply for Tier 2. However, if he gets his RCoS before the current visa expiry, he is sure that he can go out of country and come back in couple of weeks with his new Tier 2 visa.

If he doesn't get his RCoS before his current visa expiry, he is not sure when he will get it! And he will have to wind up everything in the UK and leave the country due to his visa expiry! It's really painful as he needs to vacate his accommodation, cancel all the contracts, pack all his luggage and go back to his country and then wait for RCoS approval!

Hope you all understand!

Urgent query:

Is there any pre-decided or set number of CoS that any employer can apply. If yes then can they request for additional. I believe employer can apply for any number of restricted CoS. Please correct me if I am wrong. It seems my HR is getting confuse and saying that she has applied for allocation which can be case for unrestricted but not for restricted.
I already clearly answered you, with reference to the official guidance, what more information you require?

Why do you think there will be a limit on "unrestricted" cos and no limit on "restricted" CoS? Counter-intuitive!
I spent lot of of time today to understand the whole process. I referred this one:
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... icence.pdf

And it seems like allocation for employer is only required for unrestricted CoS and employer can request for additional CoS if exhausted. I refereed above guide (specially page 38) which is common for restricted & unrestricted CoS but wherever there is mention of allocation or increase of allocation for employer , its only about unrestrcited CoS.

Then I referred this (page 8-12)
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... ed_CoS.pdf

And this never mention about any prerequisite allocation required by employer for restricted CoS. It ask about how many CoS employer wants to apply.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Is anyone still waiting at 41p and 42p. Really frustrating to see that at 42p I am still under view.
Also I believe that typically the statistics are released at 28th of the month ?

I think it was a typo on the mod’s behalf.

Anyway..

When do the HO usually publish the statistics for the month? And does the FOI with all the numbers at each point level have to be requested by someone?
1. I think the mod's post was merely not read correctly or not fully understood by some. Read what is written, not your interpretation :P

2. The results can take anything from 1 week to 2, but should be out by Monday latest. I think last month's was submitted on the 28th (Thursday) but only came out over the weekend if I recall correctly.

Some people's August applications depend on these official results being published in time :(

We have had multiple confirmations of 42, and some at 41. Both these should be good.

The information shared much earlier in this thread showed that 69 requests were refused at 42-points and 17 at 41-points in June. It's not a stretch to assume that those reporting in with 41 points have been approved.

I think its safe to say 41pts is the cut off this month. I've read the articles about it and the people dealing with my application have also told me they have received approvals at 41 pts but refusals at 40 pts.

I'm at 30 pts and wondering how likely it is for me to get my visa next month. Based on the numbers it seems likely as always, there is no guarantee or true calculation that can tell us

When question I'm wondering is are there many people yet who have had their applications rejected at 41pts or higher? If there are many, this could affect next months numbers if they were to reapply in August month.

Is there a FOI in yet to get a more detailed breakdown for July's allocation?

@boyapap Do you know how your company submitted by post or email? My company submitted by post on 10th. I think I will be pushed to the next month.

Something to keep in mind for those that are reapplying next month....

There are a lot of applications from this month that will get carried over to next month's allocation because they had submitted additional docs after the 10th deadline. This may affect the numbers for next month.
The amount of applications that will get carried over, is unknown but it sounds like there are a few that are still waiting and may not get allocation until next month....

Does it matter? People at 30 have been applying since December when there was a little hope. This time around the hopes are certainly higher and all employers are going to flush in their COS needs to HO next month.

Are you thinking next month there may be an increase in number of application because of the pts drop? Wondering at 30pts if there is a chance next month if there will be a rush of new applications because of the pts drop

Yes if they have the RLMT ready if not they ll come in to effect from October don't forget there are employers who have squeezed hiring low paid roles and needs to conduct fresh RLMT'S for new entrants.

September I guess, not October and its when number of available CoS also reduces.

This is just outright speculation.

What evidence do you have on this, the few comments from people on here?

Got refused today with 30 points. I am really hopeful that next month will be much better news for all of us. All this negative speculation doesn't help anyone. There was someone at the beginning of this months posts that said points wouldn't go below 50 - so really, we honestly have no idea and being negative doesn't help anyone.

Good luck next month everyone, let's keep our fingers crossed we are soon out of this mess! Am I the only one kind of thankful I'm not in the UK for a heatwave?

55 points, Non SOL, Non NHS.. Still waiting

HO requested for further documents and my employer submitted them on 10th July. So, Please may I know if my RCOS application will be considered in July allocation? or will it be moved to August?

Please may I know if there are any articles on this forum relating to this and did anyone of you have similar situation
Hi,

I´m in the same situation and waiting with 55 points. I asked my HR about that and the answer was:

"As the HO requested more info, it had to be in by the 10th to enable it to be considered in the July allocation"

The appliocations without requested from HO must be in by the 05th each month.
Hi Batagin

Please may I know if your employer sent additional documents via email or post to the Home Office

And did u hear back from ur employer

Hi everyone.

I have no news about my RCOS but I let you know once I get the update.

But given all the negative speculation I need to give mine. Here is my speculation: everything we will go to normal next month, everyone will get their RCOS, please stay positive. I don´t need any calculation to say this. Decisions are made to resolve problems and this problem is about to be resolved soon.

Sorry if I am out of the topic but I think some people here need to read this.

We all thought this month it won't cross 45 and here we are with 42 as cut off if the backlogs from 8 months at 45 and 50-55 for last 2 months can go through then why not another 10 points it will go to 30 points unless some dramatic increase in applications. All is well no need to worry.

I've been on these forums since December and I have seen far more negative comments than this. I have not said anywhere that people aren't going to get RCOS next month or that quota is going to go up, down, sideways or forwards. I have been on these forums since December and I know first hand you cannot predict anything. I just wanted to relay this information because this has been raised previously in this forum and something that my HR has raised with me to keep in mind

Please realise the wording I am careful to put in my posts....'may affect', 'unknown'. This is done purposefully because I know how uncertain this situation is. I'm sorry if people have taken my words and thought they were negative but I'm simply just relaying information. I am at 30 pts and I want more than ever to get my RCOS and I am clearly not a negative person seeing as I have stuck through this grueling process for 7 months.

Applied from Feb and re attempt from Aug. 45points. I am sure the point will be below than 40points at least in August. But anyone has a different view ? From my experience in last seven months, the cut off points were insane. 46-55-46-50-60 sth like this. I am worrying what if the cut off point is increased again ????

I am positive, but it would be good to know if someone can expect the cut off point in August based on last few months data ..?
