Dependent Visa- applied from within the UK

Anyone with experience of Tier 2 ICT dependent visa recently?

I applied for our kid in June 1st week (about 7 weeks ago). I put a special delivery envelope in, so I got the rest of the documents including the passport back with a note that the application is under consideration.

We are to travel out of the UK in August; so wondering if we can do anything about it at all?

Any recent experiences of timelines for in-country applications?
