Hi,

Could someone please advise me regarding my Tier 2 General visa renewal :

1. Do we need to meet salary requirements criteria for visa renewal (working with same company and soc code)
I met the criteria when I got the visa but not sure if there is a salary criteria for renewal and if yes how can we know the salary cutoff of my current soc code

2. When is the earliest I can apply for my visa renewal

3. Is there an advisable timeperiod when I should file my visa renewal. For example, in January or April is there less of traffic in terms of visa applications?

Yes you need to meet the SOC salary requirement criteria. Useful if you actually stated your SOC as they all have different salary requirements and it is a long list

Again, useful if you stated your visa expiry date

Makes no difference when you apply!!

1. Sorry, I am not sure of exact SOC code but my job profile is of a data analyst
2. My visa expiry date is 15th Nov 2018
3. Alright, I thought Q3 is usually busy so might take more turnaround time from HO

1. You need to find out from your sponsor what your SOC is or look at a copy of the paperwork when you originally applied for Tier 2 and then look at Appendix J for the salary range.

2. You can apply at any point before it expires.
