"AP P L I CATIION FOR
IINIITIIAL ENTRY ((SWIITCHIING))
OR EXTENSIION OF STAY WIITHIIN
TIIER 1 ((GENERAL))
MAIIN APPLIICANT"
Above application is for the people who are all in UK already and want to switch to Tier1.
If you applying from India then read this thread

Hi Raju,

1) Source of Earnings (page 19): under this i need mention company name and address,my company has two branch in india. I worked in bangalore branch, but my payslips shows bombay address of the company. which address shall I put?

- Mention the address from which they would receive your salary information in case they want to contact for verification.

2) Earnings in pounds sterling (page 19): if my previous earning in rupees is "X", X*0.0125*5.3 is it correct method of calculation under page 19. shall i use uplift ratio of 5.3 in page 19 only?

- Correct. But I suggest to use the online tool for prervious earnings. It will apply the uplift ratio and also round off decimals. Fill those figures in your form.

Hi,

since the visa processess (not the visas) out side UK are dependent on the from the country you are applying and hence, the forms may be country specific and hence these are not given the the websites you have listed.

You can go thorugh the following link for the details for applying from India.

IRF:-

sorry to her about yours results.

As mine case was similar to yours. and i do submitted the similar documents as yours. The result is in front of you. i got approved. i didn't show them the bank statement. but i do agree with others member of this thread. don't get dis hearted and apply again. i think you have been awarded for another age, education.etc. so you need to prove yours earning (which you said u have got the bank statement).

So cheer up and apply again. as its happen to my friend and he reapply again, he got the approval in three weeks (in old HSMP pattern). So you can imagine if it takes less days in old sys, then i don't think it will take more time in this new sys.

Best of luck.

Kind Regards,
Laskk

is their any chances for me to reapply for newapplication with my bank statments.

If i do so, what do u think it waits my application.
abhishekagrawal79 wrote:Hi Irf_bar,

sorry to hear about the news. As far as my knowledge goes, you need 2 documents from 2 different sources for the entire earnings you are claiming for. You provided salary slips and employer letter which are from same source. So they required another document which was in your case was the tax paper, but it didn't covered the entire earnings.

So if you provide salary slip and bank statements for the entire period, it should suffice because it will be from two different sources.

Im thinking to apply for the new application.

Just wondering what document do i need to show for the previous earnings?
As in my previous application i send 12 months pay slip, employer letter, two years tax. But this document is not sufficient thats why my application is been refuse. i have got my bank statement as well. so is this work for me.

And what more document shell i add to make my case strong.

Needs urs suggestion. Thanks in advance.

Upliftment factor for Indian earning

Post by kmore97 » Mon May 12, 2008 1:19 pm

Raju,
While applying the upliftment factor for your Indian earning, please be careful. If you were in UK during the claim period and you salary was paid in India, then you can uplift your Indian salary - that should be considered as UK earning. You can uplift your Indian (overseas) salary only if you were living in India during that period.

Hi ashish2410,

Degree should suffice. Also it would be good if you add your marksheets.

One point here, this is if your degree in English. If the degree or marksheets are not in English, then its better to have a letter from Naric as we have seen rejections due to it.

Abishek,
Are you sure only degree certificate is enough? Because there are some Universities in India who offer the same degree in both English and the vernacular medium. How NARIC/Home offcie will confirm, the degree of a candidate was taught in English and not in vernacular medium. For example, I know a friend of mine who did his graduation in English only - but the same course is offered in local language by the university. So he got a medium of intruction certificate as well.

Hi kmore97,

When I said the degree is enough I was refering to the case when your university is recognised by the self assessment tool on the agency website. As far as what they have given in the guidence, this is enough. Why I said that the degree should be in English is that we saw one rejection of Sinspider where his application was rejected giving the reason that his degree was in Swedish.

I am not aware that if university is offering the same course in different languages and still give the same kind of degree and do not mention anything about the medium.

Hope this clarifies your doubt.

Hi Skris,

If you please forward me the pattern of yours covering letter. As you said you make a table in CL. It will be really very much help full for me.

I dont want to take any wrong step now.

Other members:- if you have the pattern of CL spl in earning, plzzz do forward me on my id.

My email ID:- irfnbar@gmail.com

Waiting for yours reply.

Kind Regards,
Irf

skris wrote:Irf,

Sorry to hear about the refusal. You need to be very careful when sending the docs & you could've always posed the question to forum members before applying.

For earnings, the best documents are salary slips in company letter head and corresponding bank statements (original in bank paper) that clearly shows for each month the credit for the net salary in the payslip.

In my cover letter, i had put in a table that showed

Pay date/Gross pay / Net pay/Credit date in bank/credit amount/Payment ref

in which one could cross reference the net salary and credit amount as well as the payment reference showing my company name.

Better luck next time!

I agree with Agrawal. You show 12 months salary slips and bank statements. It will be enough. Try again, don't give up. You will succeed this time.
