UK arrival at Southampton port stamp missing in Passport Tier 2 to ILR continuous residence

Post by JP145 » Thu Aug 09, 2018 10:20 am

Dear All,

I will will applying my ILR on 23Aug2018 via set (o)- Tier 2 5 year route. my total out of county absence is 5 year is 50days so 180 days is not the issue. However, i do not have one UK arrival stamp on my passport. Details below.

Went on cruise holiday for 4 days. Trip: Southampton-Belgium-France-Southampton. 05Sep2014-08Sep2014.
- i have Schengen arrival stamp for Belgium (06Sep2014) and departure from Schengen from Fance (07Sep2014). But UK arrival stamp is missing for UK. There was not immigration when we landed at southampton port on 08Sep2018 and hence no stamp on passport. I do have my Cruise itinerary to include in my application. after this my next trip was to Spain and i do have UK arrival stamp for that trip for 23Jan2015 at hethrow airport.

Will this affect my 5 year continuous period? will they consider that i was out of country from 05Sep2014 to 23jan2015 as there is no UK arrival stamp in between?
