Tier 2 (General) Visa Extension (Leave to Remain)

Hi all,

My visa is due to be extended in Jan 2019. I just wanted to get some questions answered. I called up the visa information line and know I will be okay in terms of the certificate number, as the extension is under the unrestricted section for sponsors, however I wanted to confirm with someone what documents and evidence I will need when applying. I tried to get to that section on the application form but as I do not yet have my sponsor's licence number I cannot get to the documents section.

There is very little information out there about the extension (leave to remain) so any advice would be very helpful!

Have you read through the Tier 2 Guidance notes??

Yes, however the guidance notes do not give much information linked to the extension process.

Currently, BRP, Passports and photographs and off course a valid COS number with appropriate salary.


It will also depend if there are any changes when you apply, really.
