Help! Made a stupid mistake with Life in the UK test

Post by WojciechJ » Wed Aug 08, 2018 11:26 pm

I sent my application today through NCS, amd just now realized I made a very stupid mistake!
For identity purposes I used my passport which was scanned, but I forgot Life in the UK test was done using my National ID!
I worry that I might get rejected because of this :| Is there any way I can amend this error, should I call Home Office ?

You should be ok - as you have provided a valid ID document with your application and test. Should UKVI require any further documents they will contact you. Note that the UKVI call centre operators have no access to your case or the case workers, and only give general and at times conflicting information.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

Why not send the document to the HO with a letter explaining the untended mistake and make sure you include your application reference and every other details that would allow them to trace your application supporting file?
