Returning documents - priority tier 2 application

Hi all
I submitted my application for tier 2 priority last week, along with my documents and biometric data. Yesterday received all my documents back including my BRP and photographs. Without any letter explaining the decision. That’s very unusual and wasn’t the case before on my previous applications.
Any one experienced that ? Does returning the BRP means anything eith regards the decision ?
Would really appreciate any experience shared.

Documents are returned as they are scanned once received. This is relevant I understand if your sponsor is an A rated sponsor.

Thank you very much. What does that mean in the terms of my BRP, previously thry used not to send it back andjust send you the new one. Will they ask me to send it to them once I got the visa ?

Your current BRP is still valid (if not expired yet) as you have not been granted a new visa so why would HO withhold it??

That used to be the case. I had my visa changed few times, last time was two years ago, they used to keep it wether you apply in a premium service or by priority. I am not sure if they changed the rules recently.

If the home office made a positive decision, they used to withold your BRP as you are getting the new one soon. My worry is that does returning the BRP means anything with regards to the decision..
