Tier 2 General Shortage Occupation COS- URGENT

Dear Everyone,

My COS from NHS says "Y" to question "is the job in shortage occupation list?". Am i OK to assume that i have to make "Tier 2 General Shortage Occupation Visa " application from dropdown list online as fees are different for Tier 2 general and Tier 2 general shortage occupation categories. Do i need to check any other information anywhere or just information on COS is confirmatory ? Applying from Overseas ( Pakistan)

Yes, you will select Tier 2(General Shortage Occupation) as the visa type, as the CoS states that job is on the Shortage Occupancy List.

It is also best to ensure that the job is actually listed on the shortage occupancy list by referring to the link below:

Hello,

Can somebody please help me with this. I am filling Tier 2 General Shortage occupation Visa application. I have a shortage occupation COS with salary of 58k.
I claimed 10 points for maintenance and language each.

I know we write 30 in COS and 20 in appropriate salary with jobs needing resident labour market test COS.

What should be the points claimed for COS and Appropriate salary with shortage occupation COS?
30 and 20 or 50 and 20 ?

Will be very thankful if anybody who knows for sure can respond to this please.

its 30 and 20 . Found this from VAF9 i.e. appendix 5 form.
Correct me if i am wrong.
