Which passport to send in applying for first British Passport

Post by NicholasWest » Wed Aug 22, 2018 3:23 pm

In applying for a British passport, the guidelines say I should submit "the passport you used to come into the UK or the foreign passport you’re included on."

The Canadian passport that I "used to come into the UK on" has obviously since expired and I have a new one. Should I send the expired passport that I originally entered the country in, the new one, or both? If I can get away with sending an expired passport, I would, but I'd guess that's not how it works.

Cheers.

You should just require to submit the valid Canadian passport. This is to confirm your country of the origin.
