ilr tier general - annual leaves

Hi,

I am applying in person for ILR on 24th August.
Just a quick query do I need to provide details from HR of all the annual leaves i have taken during the last 5 years? Or just the leave taken during my time out of the UK?

Ilr tier 2 general employer letter

Dear Members,

Please can I clarify something. My service manager and HR has given me a combined letter with all thr relevant details required for ILR. May I know if this is acceptable?

Also my manager has electronically signed the letter. Is this acceptable or does it need to be a real/physical signature?

Can you elaborate what do you mean by combined letter?

Electronic signatures are commonplace in large organizations, however, if I was you, I'll get your manager to physically sign the letter.

Thanks for your reply. Combined letter includes the job details, forseeable future statement, salary, Soc code etc and the confirmation of annual leaves taken during my time out of the UK. Then at the end of letter electronic signatures of HR manager and my service manager.

I can ask my manager to sign the letter physically.

Yes this should be ok.

I'm enclosing a format below as a reference (which I submitted today along with my ILR application, and it was accepted), so you can make sure all avenues are covered in your letter. I know the format below is a bit detailed and not every employer will be keen to sign on so much stuff, or the language might differ. That's ok as long as it covers SOC, Salary, Hours, foreseeable future and confirmation that absences were approved by employer.

We confirm that <Full Name> is currently employed in the position of <Designation> and his basic salary, is £XXX per annum based on YY hour week. We confirm that his job matches SOC code XXXX, which has an hourly rate of £XX.XX per hour equivalent to £XYZ based on a XX hour week. Mr <Full Name> therefore receives above the minimum salary required for this role. Additionally, his salary is also higher than the current applicable ILR threshold.

We also confirm that it is our intention to retain Mr <Full Name> in this employment in the UK for the foreseeable future.

We further confirm that as part of this employment, Mr <Full Name> was required to travel regularly outside the UK on behalf of <Employer Name>. Accordingly, Mr <Full Name> would not have been able to fully perform his duties and employment obligations to <Employer Name> if he were unable to travel overseas on behalf of the company as and when required.

We therefore confirm that all business trips disclosed were fully authorised and insisted upon by <Employer Name> and that compelling business reasons existed to warrant Mr <Full Name’s> business trips overseas. We further confirm that at all times during his employment, Mr <Full Name’s> employment base remained in the UK.

Please find attached the list of Mr <Full Name> business travel as well as personal travels which were part of his annual leave entitlement.

My Soc code for the job is 2221 and please can anyone let me know what will be the appropriate rate for this job role?
Codes of practice table 9 starts from £16000. My current pay is well above the current ilr threshold.

Not sure which salary to state. Please help, applying this friday.

Is it mandatory to submit p60? I have payslips and bank statements

To qualify for ILR, you need to be earning a minimum of £35,500pa. Do you meet this requirement??

Yes my salary is above the threshold £35500. But unsure which appropriate rate to write on my application.

Also please let me know if P60 is mandatory??

P60 not required.

In terms of what salary you write, you simply state the salary of the band that you are on.

I am applying for ILr this friday, and my payday is on the 24th of every month, which is the sameday I am applying for ILR. Because of the one calendar month rule, I am not sure showing the July and previous payslips should be sufficient?

That’s interesting. At Croydon. I hope it won’t be an issue. They can cross check previous paydays and confirm this. End of the day they want to know I am genuine. Good luck

You'll be fine. They want to see the recentmost payslip, which in your case will be for the month before. Your salary credits will anyway show that you get paid on 24th of each month, and at almost all organizations, payslips are generated the next day, at the earliest.
