I'm an HSMP holder who received it on the old pre Nov 06 rules. I don't hold a degree, so would fall into the transitional arrangemet category. The permit expires in Dec 08. Does anybody or has anybody applied for the extension early? Ie. will I be able to apply and receive the extension for the further 3years now and have the extension permit dated from the date the initial one expires?

I've read somewhere on here that someone has managed to do this in the past.
