Specific time when dependant must apply for visa?

Hi all,

I am planning to apply for a Tier 2 Visa soon, and I just want to know whether my dependant must apply with me or can he apply at a later stage?

Is there any rule stating that dependants must apply within a certain period of time after the main application?

There is no such time limit. dependants can apply along with or separately from the main applicant.
