You must complete a declaration of Intention to Retain Irish Citizenship if you reside outside of Ireland by completing Form 5 annually.

Please complete this form if;

You became an Irish citizen through naturalisation
If you reside outside of Ireland
Make sure you use the most recently published version of each form when making an application. If you complete an old version of a form, it will be returned to you and you will have to start again.

No not for that but if I have a plan to living USA aswell for business purpose. Do u have any idea Max. ?

If you move to the US then follow the instructions and submit the form to the address provided.

A friend of mine moved to France six months after acquiring the Irish citizenship by naturalization. He contacted the local Irish embassy and was told that if he continuously remains outside country for 7 years, he must come to the embassy and inform about his intentions to keep Irish citizenship. For form 5, he told me that the embassy staff told him it is not that necessary but if you do submit it annually it is fine.
