Stamp 4 renewal

Post by figomenji » Fri Sep 07, 2018 3:25 pm

Hi forum members,

My stamps 4 is due to expire by the end of November 2018 which will be renewed as I am working.
However, I have an irish citizen child.
What route and advantages should I take to renew: zambrano (irish citizen child) or based on my job?

Awaiting your suggestions

What are the basis of your current Stamp 4?

Did you get your current Stamp 4 based on a job or on family (Irish/EU family member)?

I got my stamp 4 based on job. But we have an irish citizen child who got irish passport recently. My spouse was on stamp 3 and has changed stamp 3 to stamp 4 which was approved this Sept 2018 for 3 years at the immigration office in Cork.

You will get stamp 4 for 3 on the basis your Irish child. You don’t need to do anything. Bring your child’s passport and birth certificate along with your GNIB and passport.

Thanks my question is how long will my renewal be based on my job since I have stamp 4 based on it for two years now. Will the stamp be for three years or five years?
