Rcos for T2ICT Dependent to T2 General?

Post by vincentforums » Thu Sep 13, 2018 1:21 pm

I am currently on a T2 ICT Dependent and my sponsor has agreed for a T2 Gen for me. They have told me i would be provided with an RCos but seems likeRcos is only for folks outside the UK.

My visa will expire on Jan 2019.

They are right. You have to apply outside of UK with RCos.

Ty! Does this mean I have to leave the UK even though I have a T2 Dependent visa valid up to Jan 2019?

Yes. Switching from ICT dependent to General is considered as a fresh application. So you have to apply from home country. No within UK switching allowed. Hence RCos

Can two employers apply for my Rcos?

Post by vincentforums » Thu Sep 13, 2018 1:36 pm

Hello,

Can two employers apply for my Rcos?

I have two potential sponsors:

Company 1: Has already started RLMT
Company 2: Has not started any process and is considering my sponsorship.

I would like to ideally join company 2 but only after I am sure I can get a visa from company 2.

Only 1 employer will be able to assign who so ever do it 1st. So no point of applying 2 separate cos at same time.
