spouse visa renewal question

Post by wandali » Thu Jun 21, 2018 8:36 pm

Hi guys

I was wondering if someone can help me. My husband visa is due for a renewal in October and I am on a work contract which is ending in Sept so I can provide 6 months payslips and he's starting a new job in July he wont have the 6 months payslips. Is it possible to apply using both our payslips even though my contract will be ending in Sept?

Thanks in advance

Spouse visa extension documents required

Post by wandali » Mon Aug 13, 2018 11:12 pm

Hi guys

I was wondering if you could let me know what documents my husband need to submit for his visa extension.
Do we need to provide evidence of us living together for the last 2.5 years or just the latest documents? For 6 months payslip do we need to provide payslips show I earn £9300 in 6 months as my contract ends just before we submit the application will this affect his visa? My salary keep on flactuating as some months I get paid for 4 weeks and some months 5 weeks will this affect the application or does the monthly salary need to be the same. Also one of the month I was paid for 2 weeks as I started my new job in the middle of the month, is it ok to include this payslip or not?

Thank you in advance

You only need 2 years of cohabitation where you applying extension following the grant of initial spouse visa. But if you are applying initial spouse visa then proof of subsisting relationship will be needed instead cohabitation. Regarding payslips you will have to attach 26 weeks/6 months of payslips if you are with your employer from last 6 months. Preferably try to apply before your contract ends otherwise wait for first month payslip from next job then apply under category B where you will require to supply 12 months of payslips.

[dir=rtl][/dir]thank you so much for a quick reply. I will have to wait until end of Sept so I can have the full 6 months payslips to apply for his visa as his visa runs out on 8th October and my contract ends on 19th Oct, hope this won't affect his visa as my contract ends just before putting in the application?

Does my employement letter need to say when the contract ends or not?

Thanks in advance

In my opinion you need to be honest and should indicate to HO the date when your contract will expire. But on the other hand you should also remind to HO that only the documents until date of application matters.

Does my child who was born here (UK) need to be included in my husband's visa application (FLRM)

Post by wandali » Tue Sep 18, 2018 6:31 pm

Hi
My husband is due to extend his visa next month, but wasn't too sure if we need to include our child (in the application) who was born here (UK) last year (2017) as I have had indefinite leave to remain since 2014.

Thanks in advance

You should have registered your baby as British to escape from financial requirement requirement. Almost all forms ask about the children either who applying or not apply and their details must be given in relevant section.

A British child cannot apply. However, answer appropriately in the relevant sections.

She doesn't have a passport yet and both my husband and I are from different countries. Should I write her dad's nationality as we are in the process of applying for her British passport.

Documents for FLR (M) Extension

Post by wandali » Wed Sep 19, 2018 7:42 pm

Hi

Can someone please help as I am confused on how many documents we need to provide is it just the latest one or old ones or mixed showing we have lived together.

If it's mixed do we submit some from old addresses as we have moved houses twice since his last application.

I know we need to submit at least 6 documents with both our names on it or 4 with both our names on them and 2 individual but not too sure how to distribute which ones I need to send to home office, either current ones or old ones and new ones.

Thanks for your help

You need to provide 6 pieces of proof of address in joint names, from at least 3 different sources, spread as evenly as possible over the 2.5 year qualifying period.

If you don't have anything in joint names, you should submit 6 each (12 in total) in single names.

Ideally this would be 1 (or 2 if in single names) every 4-5 months.

Yes - I presume the father is British, so the child being born in UK to British Parent is a British Citizen by descent anyway and exempt from immigration control.

I have ILR since 2014 and the child was born in 2017 and the father is the one renewing the visa. So does the child need to be included as a dependant on the application or should the father apply on his own without dependant using the £18,600.

Thanks

This one.

Child information still needs to be provided where it is asked for in the form.

I am wondering if did you submitted tenancy agreement for your last domicile (occurent one)?
From you list I conclude that you submitted only proof of cohabitation without proof of actual accommodation
