RLMT ad requirements?

Post by CristinaMarsh » Tue Sep 25, 2018 10:11 pm

Hi gurus & bosses

1) What is the requirement for RLMT ad ?
2) Is Job reference number essential?

I saw some jobs with & some without job reference number on findajob government website.

3) Is salary essential?
some jobs have salary mentioned as “competitive” on findajob government website. I did some research & some says that mentioning salary package or range is a must if salary is above £73k. What employer has to make sure is salary lies in required threshold for that CoS.

Thank you

I have been through similar questions around a month back and everyone will give answers based on their experience or from guide.

Guide says you should provide exact figures though competitive is acceptable in some cases.
Should also provide reference numbers.

My experience:
My RLMT had no closing date, no reference and salary mentioned was competitive.
CoS had no mention of job reference.
Result: CoS & Visa both approved.

Some other experiences that I found in this forum:
CoS rejected because of some information missing
Visa refused for similar reasons.

So it also depends on case worker how deeply they check the things.

CoS for in-country employer switch

Post by CristinaMarsh » Thu Sep 27, 2018 4:13 pm

Hi

If a company has tier 2 sponsorship license. Do they get CoS after RLMT or they already have CoS and just have to allocate it to a person after RLMT?
How much time does it take to get a CoS and allocate it to any person?

Sorry but slightly confused by monthly CoS allocation discussion but I think that is for out of country application?

Thanks
CM

Monthly allocations meeting of RCoS is NOT relevant to in country employer switch. You need a UCoS not an RCoS.

CoS can only be allocated/assigned after RLMT, if the sponsor has available CoS to issue. It does not take long as all online.

Till when can dependent of Tier2General work

Post by CristinaMarsh » Fri Sep 28, 2018 6:44 am

Hii

Our (myself on T2G & my husband on T2GDep) visa expires on 3 Nov. I hope to apply for new visa before this kne expires say I am able to apply by 30 October. Till when can my dependent husband continue to work at his current job:
1) 3Nov (ie current visa expiry) even though application is in process.
2) Until the application result comes out negative that visa is not granted?
3) Until HO issues visa curtailment that can take few months to reach us. Till then my husband can continue his employment?

If 1 is true then shall we apply premium 1 day visa so we get result on 30 Oct itself? & if result is visa granted then he can continue to work. if visa not granted on 1 day premium then he cannot continue to work after 3 Nov ie current visa expiry or until visa curtailment comes?

Thank you for your continued support & advices!
