Doubt on UK Visa switch

Hello there,
Can you please help me with my queries.
I am currently on ICT Tier2 Long term valid until 2021 April
My wife was my dependent for one year (2016 - 2017) and last year she switched to Tier 2 General.She is on Tier 2 general from 2017 - till date.
Now due to some issues with her employment, we want to convert her visa from Tier 2 General back to my Tier 2 dependent.
My questions are below:
Can we do this switch with her being in UK?
Or she should travel to home country and come back to UK?
Can we do this ourselves or my employer should do it? If we can do this ourselves, should I inform about this to my employer?
Is there any indicative timeline as to how long this process would take? Can we do fast track here?

I think its possible and you can do it with in UK. As far as I know this doesn't require anything from your employer as long as you can satisfy maintenance and relationship requirement.
