Latest PR card accepted 2018 , apply for sttlement on march 2019 or wait for july 2019 for naturalization??

Hi everyone please advice me i acquired my permanent residence card this july 2018,
After 2021 the permanent card is no longer valid according to Home Office information board i just read it i dont know if its real. My husband will apply for Settlement next year march of 2019 thats after brexit . And thats the new rule for every EU citizan who wants to live and stay in Uk. Do i need to apply for it together with him or i will just wait for july 2019 and apply for my naturalisation?? Whis one is better ..

If you already hold Permanent residence card you do not have to apply under Eu settlements scheme as the card still be valid till 31 December 2020
You can directly apply for Naturlisation in July 2019.
But if you are applying for your Non EEA family member it’s worth getting your replace for free and in the same time put in application for your Non EEA Family member

Thank u for your advice. I hope it will helps. Because im just worried maybe settlement status is better than the permanent residence, im confuse but hopefully i can decide well which one to use. Im definitely applying for naturalization next year.

Permanent Residency (current scheme) and Settled Status (scheme from March 2019) will have the same value - as Irfan1648 said, given you already have PR, you won't need to apply for Settled Status until 2021. And by that time, you may have acquired Citizenship if you apply in July 2019, so you will not need Settled Status.

Hey I am basically under the same circumstance as you!!
I got my permanent residence august 2018.
But remember the Date you acquire the right of permanent Residence is the one stated on the letter not the one on the Card, so mine was stated from march 2018, which means by march 2019 i will be able to apply for naturalisation, my only concern is if the PR will be valid in order to apply for the naturalisation (due to Brexit shit going on)... Im praying for it to be valid!
however as it seems to be valid all the way until dec 2020, but some people say it may not...
lets see how things go

You need to look at the date on the letter, Filipina 24 - where it says 'Based on the information you provided with your application, the date on which you are deemed to have acquired permanent residence in the UK is xxx". From this date, count 1 year and then you can apply for citizenship - so March 2019.
Unless you're married to a Brit - in this case, no need to wait the further 1 year and you can apply immediately.

so we are in the exact same situation, lol

mine is stated in the letter to be acquired on march 2018, so certainly I will apply for naturalisation in march 2019, and you shold do the same, because the date on the Card is just the issue Date of that biometric Card, is like for example, if you lose it now and you receive a replacement the date that will come on the replacement will be the new date they print it

however you need to pass the life in the uk test, you must get a certificate from trinity college in english level B1 minimum, get the two referees on of them british with a profesional career, check that you havent spent more than 450 days outside the uk in the last 5 years, and no more than 90 days in the last 12 months prior to naturalisation, also make sure you were phisically present in the uk exactly 5 years ago from the date HO receives your application,, ( if they receive it 20.03.2019 -- make sure you were in the uk the 20.03.2014) exact 5 years behind....

This question is from by brother, I am a EU national and wife is non eu she got PR on my base in june 2017. According to her PR letter she was eligible for it on 30th January 2017.

My question is do we have to wait until 30th January 2018 to apply for nationality or we can apply a bit early like in November or December 2017. Thanks in advance.

Raja2018: as per above - unless the person with PR is married to a British national, they have to wait 1 year from the date they acquired PR. So she must apply after 30th January 2018. If she applies earlier, she is likely to lose £1330. Not recommended.
