Tier 2 Dependent Visa For child born in UK

Hello All,

I on a Tier 2 general visa . My husband is on Tier 2 dependent visa. our visa expiry is in 2021 ( we are from India )

Our baby was born in Uk last year.
I would like to apply for a permission to stay for my baby or dependent visa for him.

How can I apply for it ?

I have my baby's British birth registration , Indian birth certificate and Indian passport with me .

please advise.

Hi CR001,

I couldn't find any topic on the Forum related to tier 2 dependant visa, sorry for asking it here,which supporting documents i need.

Do i need English language certificate?
Do i need to submit wage slip for three month? if yes I had applied for Tier 2 extension it was refused due to Toeic in 2016, HO withdraw the JR and issued the visa last month so at the moment i have only one pay slip, shall i wait two month more or i can apply now.

but i have more than £630 in my account over three months.

As far as I understand, you only need maintenance funds.

Birth certificate
Passport
Your BRP copy and passport copy
Marriage cert

The online form at the end will give you a checklist.
