Tier 2 ICT to PBS Dependent to Tier 2 General - ILR application eligibility

Post by mabbath » Sun Oct 07, 2018 11:31 am

Hello,

My visa status in UK till now can be summarised as:
Period 1. Tier 2 ICT from Sept-2012 to Feb-2014
Period 2. PBS Dependent from Jun-2014 to Oct-2016
Period 3. Tier 2 General from Oct-2016 onwards till date

Does my clock get reset at the beginning of every new Period?
If not, can I apply for an ILR any time now or in mid 2019?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Yes, for ILR based on 5 years residence.
If not, can I apply for an ILR any time now or in mid 2019?
No.

You require 5 years residence in one category, ie 5 years as PBS Dependent OR 5 years as Tier 2 General. This was already advised when you asked the question in 2016.

Hello,

Thanks for your response. With quite some changes to immigration laws, I just wanted to confirm this again. Hence, my question got repeated. Did not mean to spam.

Thanks again for your kind response.
