TIER 2 to ILR

Does the TIER 2 Route lead to ILR for all types of TIER 2 visa?

Is that for existing Tier 2 General or anyone coming on fresh new visa?

I did read somewhere that ILR has been stopped for certain categories of Work Permit meaning even though they are working and living here for 5 years yet they will still not be granted ILR.

Really, where did you read that?? ILR has only be discontinued for Tier 1 General based on 5 yeas residence recently. So unless you have an official source of your information, you have read or heard incorrectly.

Tier 2 ICT cannot get ILR after 5 yeas residence either.

I believe it must be Tier 1 General that I must have heard of...

To be honest I have stopped coming to the forum for a while now ever since I got my British passport long time ago...lol
