UK Spouse Visa timeline for August/Sept 2018?

Hello,
Turkish wife applied for UK spouse visa in Turkey.
Received email from Sheffield saying docs received and officer is looking into it on 7th Sept.
Anyone else in similar timeframe and heard anything back or knows what happens next or what to expect from here...

The applicant will be asked to pick up passport at some point when decision made by UKVI.

Hi @damtheman Have you received any response yet? did you wife applied with priority service?

Here is my wife's time line in istanbul
Applied on 12 Sep - Priority Service
Bio metric done 12 Sep

E-mail received on 25th Sep
Rest of process still waiting. What is your time line?

What email did you receive? Its been over a month for me with prioriry and the only 2 emails I've recieved are that the documents haven't been recieved.

The email i received it says ECO is preparing application etc and it gave a time line. I think it's a generic email you receive after the receive the documents.

Did you track the documents down? probably your documents are lost in post so i will recommend sending them an email with tracking number if you have one?
