New Born baby British Passport requirement- Father on ILR

Hi Guys

Thanks for your time looking into my request.

I have Indefinite Leave to Remain in UK and my wife is on dependent visa.

We just had a baby born in UK. Could you please let me know if my baby automatically gets British citizenship and I can just apply for British passport using passportapplication.service.gov.uk
Or
I have to register my baby using MN1 form first and then apply for British passport.

Your baby is a british citizen . That's for sure. You can apply by filling in the paper form and send it with supporting docs, such as your passport , ilr, and baby's birth certificate.
