Settlement Checking Service Set (m)

Post by Honeybager » Tue Sep 18, 2018 8:01 pm

Hello, does anybody know if travel during a Set (m) application is permitted? For example if we used the settlement checking service and received our passports etc back and then our application was submitted by post would we then be able to travel outside the UK and come back whilst it was being processed? Many thanks if any light can be shed

Leaving the UK while you have an application for a visa extension or ILR pending means your application will be treated as withdrawn and if your spouse visa has expired, you won't be able to re-enter the UK.

Is that correct? Do they keep the brp and you can’t travel? The settlement checking service?
