I don't know if it's compulsory, but it is definitely strongly advisable.

don't worry, it's true that it would have been better but if your employer letters are properly prepared, they'll normally cover what's on your CV's experience section. The other parts are included in the HSMP application form anyways..

they are not answering any e-mail queries nowadays but that doesn't mean they don't read them. No harm in trying..

No. I didn't and it did not have any adverse effect.

Saint, they do answer emails even though it may take some time. Just posted a reply i received on 09/03/05 in my earlier post. My advice is that with the sped they are processing and making decisions, it may be late to send a CV because your decision letter may be on the way. My case they did not even acknowledge or even send me a refence letter, the only communication was an email reply saying it has been processed and will be getting the decision letter shortly

Thats what I was thinking.
My experience letters are quite in detail and I have nearly three years of experience in UK on work permit with very reputed companies. I had sent them copies of previous work permits held as well including my salary details on current eployer reference letter.
They received my application on 9th March, deducted my Credit card and sent me the reference number on same day by email.
So I decided not to send my CV now, I am just waiting and hoping for the best :)
