1.3 Correct.Marikistin wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 8:03 pmsorry Char more clarifications,
1.3 - dont need to write as i will be doing this on 2.4 is that correct? and in 2.4 i would say yes and then fill the pr card number and date of issue?
6.11 - its ok to tick NO and dont need to make an explanation letter? sorry for double checking this as this is one of the things i am really worried about...the BRP they refer here is the one that is not sticked on your passport but rather the card like a debit card and this is the one issued to me when i applied for PR...its really ok not to return it without explanation? what BRP are they referring to for return here is it the ones from the ILR?
now upon reading again should i tick yes to 6.1 of the biometric enrolment?

6.11 You still need to submit your PR card as evidence that you have PR.
Why don't you complete the online form if you are applying soon and then apply using NDRS at the council. You then get to apply for the passport at the same time using the paper passport form and you get to keep hold of all your original documents.
Marikistin wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 8:34 pmalso here are the supporting documents that i plan to submit:
Passport (Current); do i need to include the expired one where my EEA FP and Residence Permit sticker are in? I understand that ALL passports need to be submitted so yes, you would need to submit yoru previous passport.
My birth certificate Not required
LitUK Pass letter
Trinity College London Cert of English Language speaking and listening skills B1 CEFR
letter from employer (present)
letter from past employer(issued 2017 and have used this on my PR application)
BRP (PR)
Spouse Current passport (Copy)
Marriage Certificate
p60's from 2013-present
Spouse Birth Certificate Not required
- is it necessary to include HO letter which says I was given permission to remain permanently in the UK as im already sending the BRP (PR) card, or can i send a certified copy?... again, im worried they will lose this lol. No
-are payslips necessary or p60's would be enough for proof of residence. P60s are sufficient.
Again, many many thanks and hopefully this will help others too.
Char, again thank you so much for all your inputs!!! its been very helpful and hopefully I will be able to finish this form and move on with the MN1... will be back to update and probably more questions for the MN1 application. Cheers!!!CR001 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 19, 2018 9:34 amMarikistin wrote: ↑Thu Oct 18, 2018 8:34 pmalso here are the supporting documents that i plan to submit:

Marikistin wrote: ↑Tue Oct 23, 2018 10:34 amIm on the last leg of my filling my application and would like to know what people think of the following:
1. Should i declare a pcn issued to me? This was in 2016 and i had actually paid for my parking and the sticker fell off the windscreen, sent them the sticker and an explanation letter and never heard from them after that. Not sure. Many topics on the forum regarding this PCN/FPN issue. If unsure, declare rather than not declare.
2. Got caution from a TV license person last March 2018, so very recent but have the tv license all pain in full now for a year. Should i declare this? If you were not prosecuted then likely not an issue. Again, as per #1 above.
3. My second referee is a restaurant manager, british citizen but i think he/she will be leaving the job soon and at the same time going for a holiday on the week that i will be submitting my application... is this ok or should i find someone else for referee? Is this your professional referee??
4. The referee on number 3 question if he/she is ok to be referee can they do both mine (AN) and my daughter's (MN) which will both be submitted together at the same time? You can use the same referees as long as they have known each of you for 3 years.
5. Char, you did mention about the BRP (PR) on your reply to me before that under EEA/EU rules dont need to be returned to HO...should i make a cover letter and please can you point out anywhere where i can quote this on my letter to the caseworker. PR under the EU rules is not lost after British citizens, you retain the status you have attained under the EU directive unlike ILR under the UK immigration rules which is lost on the grant of citizenship. You can return the card if you wish to but it is not necessary. No need for a cover letter.
Thank you again all for your time in reading and replying on my queries and hopefully this would help others out too.
Char thank you so much for giving your valuable time in answering my questions and others as well...very grateful for all your help.CR001 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 23, 2018 1:13 pmMarikistin wrote: ↑Tue Oct 23, 2018 10:34 amIm on the last leg of my filling my application and would like to know what people think of the following:

West1234 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 10, 2018 10:21 pmHi,
I am applying for UK Naturalisation and I have a few questions, I would be really gratefull if I can have help with these questions.
I have lived in the UK since 2002 (16 years) - I was 4 years old
I have had my Indefinte Leave to Remain since 2008 (10 years)
I am a 21 year old in University.
I have not travelled anywhere in the past 5 years.
I am applying online and JCAP.
Questions I have:
1. When filling in my 5 year proof of addresses should the dates overlap (I have moved around England alot) Yes, you need to declare all the addresses.
2. Would it be a good idea to ask my mentor professor in university/ the University itself to write a letter for good character - just to help with my application (I already have 2 refrences that have known me for more then 3 years ) No, it's not that kind of good character they are talking about. They are checking whether you have brushed with the British law.
3. Proof of living in the UK, are these sufficient:
-Zimbabwean Passport Yes you must provide this.
-Student Finance Letters from Student Finance England (governement) No
-Payslips from my last employer (one month - I only worked for 1 month) No
- Letter from University (What should the letter say if this valid document) May be it's a good idea to get a letter from the Uni but not to prove you've lived in the UK, just to prove you are a full time student and that's the reason you haven't been in any employment.
-Bank Statements - Bills Not necessary
-Contracts of Accommodation (I only have student ones) Not necessary
-Do I have to prove I have lived in every single address with some form of documentation No, you dont need evidence to prove your addresses.
When you have your NDRS the registrar will only send the necessary documents. I took some salary slips but the registrar declined sending those as the salary slips werent on the document check list. It turned out the registrar was correct.
4. Because I am a Student my employment history isnt consisitent as I am focusing on studies, for SECTION 10 of documentation it as ks for either Payslips, P60's or Employers Letter as NI Contribution
- I only have Payslips from my last employer (I only worked for the Christmas month) and National Insurance Number Letter from HM Revenue, would that be suffecient? Yes, that's sufficient. You are a student.
5. My Refrences are my friends parents who have known me for more then 3 years.
- One of them is a Teacher with a British Passport and is over 25.
- One has a British Passport and is over 25 .
Do these reach the requirments, is it allowed for them to be my refrences? I am not sure. Someone experienced will answer to this.
6. I am doing this all online and theres one questions that says 'Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?' I have ILR do i tick yes, if i do it asks me: Yes, tick yes
Name in which you made the application:
- I came over when I was 4 years old so I came under as dependent to my mother, so the Immigration letters are all in my mother name but I am on there as her independent, whos name would i put? This is only how I think, please correct me if I am wrong. HO is only trying to figure out whether you have been applied previously under a different name such as maiden name of a married woman who took the husband's name later.
Date of application, if known: If you know the exact date you can put that in here but if you are not certain it allows you to enter just the month and the year (possibly just the year)
-
Enter your reference number if known:
- What would the refrence number look like?
theres only to ref no on the letter
- One statrts with Our ref: 1 letter and 7 numbers
- other one is Your ref: **/***/*****/*****/* (letters/letters/surname/number)
- Theres also Case ID: 9 digit number
It's the BRP or visa number they are talking about. BRP number format is ABC123456.
7. I have done both my Life in the UK Test and English Test
- they have my First Name and my Surname but I have two middle names would that still be okay
the First Name and Surname are both correct it's just the two middle names were not included. That's fine. they record my name in the same manner without the middle name.
- And the postcode on the Life in the UK Test are different to my current address, as I am a student so I tend to move every year to a different accommodation will this be a problem? Not sure but this wouldn't be an issue if you have record the same postcode in your residential address (point 1 above). I did my LIUK test in a different postcode to where my current address is.
8. I left the country in 2011 and used a Temporary Travel Document to go to Zimbabwe becasue I came on my moms passsport and did not have one of my own, Should I send them this documet even though it was 7 years ago not in the last 5 years? No, I had 2 previous old passports. Registrar has only sent the copies relevant to last 5 years. Which means the oldest passport has not been sent at all.
I know there are alot of questions but I am being very cautious and I can't afford to lose all the money over something so minor so I am just making sure I have all the documentation to send and filled it in the correct way.
Thank you!
aman0789 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 7:32 pmIt doesn't mention anything for English Language - Do we still need to submit it?
Yes, it has been reported here and my own experience, it is an error of omission on the online checklist produced. You need send evidence of English requirement.
There is nothing else listed. Do we need to provide anything from her employer as she only has been working since January this year.
Employment not a requirement for Naturalisation - If you are EU applicant you only need as proof of residence as your passport would not have been stamped on entry.

It's not necessary (specially the salary slips) but there's no harm of taking your P60s to the NDRS appointment.I took both to my NDRS appointment but the registrar didnt send the salary slips.
- 1 of them has to be a British citizen over 25 yrs old who has known you for at least 3 years.
NDRS + JCAP has been phased out and you wouldn't be able to secure any appointments any longer.
Stellar wrote: ↑Fri Dec 07, 2018 11:35 amHi,
I am an EEA national and am not sure how to fill in some AN Application form (version 09/18) items.
1. Item 1.1
1.1 Give any reference numbers used in your immigration
applications:
Is it OK if I put there only the number with "Our Ref" from the HO letter, which was accompanied by the DCPR? Yes
This number is actually in response to the application, not in application as I understand.
I got DCPR with second application, first application was refused, because they said that not enough evidence was sent or something like that.
Is it not neccessary to put there reference number of the first refused application response letter,
if I put there reference number from the letter, which was accompanied by the DCPR as response to second application (they are asking any not all)? Don't think this is necessary to quote as is connected to your PR application which was eventually approved, per above.
2. Item 1.3
1.3 Date you were given indefinite leave to enter/remain in the
UK (not necessary if you are a Commonwealth citizen with right of
abode in the United Kingdom). If you are an EEA national, an Irish
or Swiss national or a family member of an EEA national, an Irish or
Swiss national, you should read pages 10 to 11 of the Booklet AN:
Pages 10 and 11 of the booklet AN (version November 2018) are about Knowledge of language and life in the UK - so can't find answer from there.
What date should I put here or leave it empty if EEA national?
Should I maybe put there one of the following dates?
I arrived to UK with intention to live on 20/05/2010. Yes this one only
DCPR issue date is 29/08/2017.
HO letter, which was sent with DCPR, states that date when I acquired permanent residence status is 05/04/2016.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
