ILR? FLR? please define...

what is the difference of ILR and FLR? and who is entitled to get such permit?..i appreciate any generous response..

Lulujs,
ILR=Indefinite Leave to Remain = Permanent Resident Permit
FLR= Further Leave to Remain

The very simple explanation is:
ILR means you can stay in the UK forever, work for any employer and you can apply for naturalization/citizenship after 12 months and complying with the ILR requirements.

FLR is an extension of your current visa, let's say you are a student/work permit/HSMP, if your visa is about to expire you can apply for FLR and extend your visa.
