Tier 2 - Change of employer for same SOC code ?

Hi,

Currently I am on tier 2 general visa as PR officer valid till Oct 2019. I got my Tier 2 visa in Oct 2014 with my current company and since then my salary is 22k. There has been no increment until now.

Recently I have been offered similar job profile by new employer but for a higher designation as PR Account Manager with salary 36k. I am expected to start my new job in January 2019.

My doubt is, Since the SOC 2472 code is the same for both PR officer and PR Account Manager, will I have any problem in getting a new COS/Tier 2 general visa approved from HO?

Will I be eligible to apply for ILR in Oct 2019 or do you think the spike in salary from 22000 to 36000 8 months before application can be a red flag for HO?

I would really appreciate if everyone shares their thoughts and ideas regarding my situation.

No problem, provided all other things are in place. Most importantly, RLMT

This should be fine because it's a different employer
