Need my passport - Stage 1

Hello all,
I hope you all are well.

I need your expert advise on my application based on 5 years residence in state. I have submitted all my documents in Oct 2018 (it's just been 3 weeks today). I know the timeline for passport return is 6 weeks but unfortunately I need my passport back for urgent official travel.

1) Is there any way I can ask to expedite the process and get my passport in next few days?
2) Worst case - If they don't agree to point 1 above, what's the way to get the passport and documents back and I will apply once my travel is over.

you can request your passport back your application will on hold upon ur return resubmit the passport again

no send an email ask them that you have urgent need to travel please return the passport i will resubmit on my return
