Tier 2 ILR

Post by kanzul.2022 » Thu Nov 08, 2018 3:59 pm

Hi there,

I need a clarification about Tier 2 ILR. I am Planning to apply my tier 2 ILR on May 2019.

Tier 2 General visa from 01/10/2013
Tier 2 Extension from 11/10/2016

From May 2019 past five year employment record is Perfect with current employer but I have noticed that 01/10/2013 to 30/03/2014 My employment record isn't there with HMRC. Could you please advise me will this effect my ILR.

01/04/2014 - 30/04/2019 = 5 Years employment history is perfect

Thank you

why this period 01/10/2013 to 30/03/2014 you have no record? Not start working till April 2014?

How's your employment contract at the beginning?

Thank you for your reply. I don't know why this period is missing. My contract says employment start date from 01/10/2013 I just wanted to know is there any issue if I apply my ILR on on 15/05/2019.

Lawful 5 Years
5 years up to date employment no gap or no tax issue

Thank you

What do you mean there is no record ?? No record of paying tax ? Well I assume as tax year ends on 4th April, then there was no income tax or NI to pay as you may have been below the personal income tax threshold for 2013-14. But there should still be records of employment.
I say seek the help of your employer on this as they must issue P60s every year. Find the P60 and see what's on it for tax year 2013-14
