Spouse Visa - question about payslips

Post by mattkeo11 » Fri Nov 09, 2018 8:13 pm

Hi All,

My wife is currently living in Bosnia and I am located in the UK (British citizen). We will be applying for a spouse visa sometime next year and I wanted to know more about the payslips. So I work full time in the UK and my employer issues me with a payslip every month, but in the "required documents" section it says all the documents have to be no older than 28 days. Does that make my original pay slips invalid? Do I have to ask my employer to print them off again or something?

Thanks

Only the most recent payslip cannot be older the 28 days when you apply.

They want atleast 6 months of payslips, they only want the last payslip and bank statement to be no older than 28 days when you submit the online application.

And the employment letter as well.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Spouse Visa - proving continued communication

Post by mattkeo11 » Sun Nov 25, 2018 4:01 pm

Me and my partner will be applying for a spouse visa soon... I had a question about proving long term communication. We have been in a relationship for 4 years now and have always visited each other through out the year ets (so we have flight tickets and visa apps)

but for other communication when we are not together we were going to send fb chats and skype call history. After some research we have been using a database viewer to view the skype main.db. After using some query's it looks like this:

https://imgur.com/a/DjI5Q4s

(I've just blanked out our names). How do I prove to the home office that this file is genuine and that it's not just been made on the fly. If I can't use this how do I show the home office that I have been skyping with my partner everyday etc?

Thanks

HO expects to see screenshots of Whatsapp chats, FB chats and call logs etc not a consolidation on a non related website or document.

It's impossible to get skype logs from say 3 years ago... this is not a consolidated document etc... this is skypes main.db file (where it stores everything). How would the home office take it as genuine? Anyone can edit these files as it's just an sqlite database that skype uses

That is the point, anything that can be edited is viewed as suspicious.

What other evidence do you have?

We have:

FB Chats
Whatsapp
Visa's (from when she has visited me)
Tickets (from our visits)
shipping labels (from stuff we have sent each other)
Pictures together from holidays we have taken together etc.

Skype is the main way we communicate when not in person so was hoping there was a way of all the calls we have.

Thanks

UK Spouse Via - question about employment letter

Post by mattkeo11 » Sat Apr 06, 2019 2:21 pm

Hi,

I will be applying for a spouse visa so my wife can join me in the UK, she currently lives in Bosnia. I have a question about how the employment letter should look regarding pay. I work in the IT sector and am paid an annual salary + out of hours pay. The out of hours pay can change every month depending when I do the out of hours work. On top of this I've received 2 salary increases in the past year, so my pay slips are a bit messy when it comes to the amount that is being paid in every month. How do I format all this information into the confirmation of employment letter without confusing the Home Office?

I've seen templates online such as:

***

3/15/2010

Mr. Mike Williams
Century Apartment Complex
25 Century Lane
Springfield, MO 13243

Subject: Letter of Employment Verification for Sally Smith

Mr. Williams,

Sally Jones has been employed as a Marketing Manager at Smith Industries since Jan 15th, 2010.
Sally's annual salary as of 3/1/2010 is £40,000.
She works on a full-time basis.
Please contact me at 1 800 555 5555 if I can be of any additional service.

Sincerely,

Bob Smith
Smith Industries
123 Avenue North
Springfield, MO 12345

***

How do I add the other into mentioned above into this?

Thanks
