Original qualification required for etension of leave under

Post by gidoc » Tue May 27, 2008 8:23 pm

Hi all,
Can some one please confirm that while applying for extension of leave( currently under HSMP) one doesnt need to send the orginal qualification document again, as same has been approved under HSMP beforehand.
Many thanks

Go through the Tier 1 application form and you will know.

Even if there isn't any official wording, I don't understand as to what harm will it cause if you are sending it?
Send it by Special delivery if you are not happy with 1st class of Royal mail evey more, send it by a courier.
Why would you want to risk your 750 GBP by not sending your degree certificate?

I am always of the opinion that send as much documents as possible as it will help in case of any rejection. You can always fall back on the doucments that you had sent with the application.

Cheers

That is correct. I was in the same boat when I filed for FLR (HSMP->Tier1) earlier this month and had ticked the appropriate box which said that I had already submitted the said qualification with my original HSMP application.

Did you send it then?
I agree no harm in sending it again

Its not required, but if you have it on hand Id send it again.

You *will* need to send it again if you choose to use your degree as proof for the English Language speaking requirement.
