PR for EU and Non-Eu spouse

Post by miryferny » Sun Oct 14, 2018 6:46 pm

Hi everybody I thank you in advance for reading my post and I hope you ll provide me with the nessessary information.
I am a Non-eu wife and my husband is an italian citizen..we have both living and working in the UK for more than 5 years, I ve a resident card which was renewed for the second time and we have 2 kids who are both italian citizens.
My question is about the PR application for both of us. Me and my husband will be applying together online as working qualified person and I was wondering what documents should I provide them (as a non-eu).
My hubs has 5 years p60 s and address proofs.
Do I need to provide my p60s as well? What else do I need to provide ?
And also do I need to get PR for my 2 infants as well?
Thank you xx

Have you read the guidance notes? https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... orm-eea-pr

The online form itself, after you've completed it, will give you a checklist of documents to provide - don't submit it while you gather the documents. Just save the draft application, and you can submit it when you've gathered everything.

Also useful to take a look at these - the guidance documents that the HO staff follow when assessing these types of applications:

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... s-v5.0.pdf

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... .0-EXT.PDF

I'm not savvy on childrens' status - but if you've all been here 5 years, you can do a family application. If any of the children were born here, once your husband has PR they can register as British.

Have a look at this article:

Settled status and PR are the same. EU PR will be replaced by "settled status".

Once you have your settled status(PR), you need to wait 1 year from the issue date then apply for naturalisation.
