The form given to me by the ASC was very clear, my mistake was not turning it over and reading the reverse side.

@basicdiagrams - I do not have any specific answer for you about your biometrics but perhaps you can reply to the email and see if they respond, especially if the email was signed by a person and not autogenerated. In my case my biometrics letter (attached to an email) had an inconsistency and I replied to the email and got a prompt response. My appointment is scheduled for tomorrow so hopefully it will go well.

Thanks, I sent the mail with my inquiries to NationalityBiometricsOverseas@homeoffice.gov.uk, and I replied to the email with the biometric enrolment letter.

There is a TLS VAC in my country but I'm unable to contact them as they don't have any publicly displayed contact info (except for the contact form on their website, which deals with complaints about their service).

If anyone else had a similar issue please do respond here.

Update:

I got a reply from the Home Office with a new Biometric Enrolment letter instructing me in how to book the appointment with the TLS VAC in my country. Basically I have to schedule an appointment directly via email.

I also (unexpectedly) got a reply from the TLS customer service with more or less the same info that I got from the HO.

This is interesting. My approval letter was dated 24 October.. since its been more than 21 days, I contacted British Embassy and they just said "we haven't received your registration certificate yet".. so would be interested to know how to contact them because the approval letter also said contact us in 3 months if you haven't received an invitation from the embassy. Lol so which one is it?

Also the UKF guide states that the applicant has three months to attend a ceremony after approval but if you don't receive the invitation in three months then obviously you can't attend it within that time period. Kind of odd

I guess I have been misinformed then. Because I was told the certificate is issued only once. I’m aware that it’s handed at the ceremony.
The approval letter is different from the invitation letter. The approval letter comes with your documents and the invitation letter is sent when the embassy has received your certificate.

Wow! You’re right because they told me that it is impossible. Well I’m glad it can be replaced then as anything of course can happen and it is an important document. Thank you for this information. It’s quite disappointing that you could be mislead or misinformed by people who are actually working at the HO. But anyway, thanks for the info
