FLR(M) Paper or online? Plus six months salary slips issue

Hi all,

Can someone please clarify spouse visa extention needs to be applied using paper form FLR M or online? Paper form does mention spouse visa extention but then it also says this form to be used ONLY if do not meet requirments or cannot pay.

Secondly, husband and wife want to use their combined salaries to meet financial requirment for extension.
Husband (sponsor) was employee of a sole trader businessman (sponsor's father) for 5 months but then became sole director/shareholder of a Ltd company which tookover and continued the same business from the same premises under the same trading name. Now last 2 payslips are actually under the new Ltd company's PAYE scheme number. Does the husband meet the requirment of "6 months employment with the same employer" for spouse visa extension purposes? If not, any suggestion will be much appreciated.
