Mine is:

Applied Online: 18/10/2018
Submission and Biometric at VFS Islamabad (Pakistan): 27/10/2018
Confirmation Email: 28/10/2018

Booked for passport submission on 2/12/2018

Would like ask you , if there will be an interview should they send an rmail confirming that they will conduct interview at the same day of my passport submission or i May expext it without such notification??

I contacted my University International/Visa officer and he told my CAS was used on 29th November, today i called the UKVI and they said the decision on your application has been made and i ll be contacted by VFS Lahore soon. I think i ll probably get a message in 2-3 days maximum, will update when i do.

I contacted my University International/Visa officer and he told my CAS was used on 29th November, today i called the UKVI and they said the decision on your application has been made and i ll be contacted by VFS Lahore soon. I think i ll probably get a message in 2-3 days maximum, will update when i do.

I have just received my passport with entry clearance sticker on it. I applied from Lahore, Pakistan

I gave my biometrics on 27th, my application was received at Sheffield on 28th and i was granted visa on 29th. I opted for standard services but yet was lucky to have my visa granted within 1 working day.

Total timeline was from Biometrics day

Visa granted in 1 working day and passport received after 5 days. (including Saturday and sunday).

Would be happy to help, anyone needing any guidance.

You were not asked to give credibility interview which means you are from low risk country. You should count the working days from the date of your biometrics.

As it stands, you should expect to receive your visa on Monday for sure.

Update on my application timeline tier 4 general woth my family as Dependants (spouse and child)
Priority opted
Applied online 28/11
Biometric on 2/12 (No interview as the officer didnt want to interview me may be because i am funded /and no need to assess my english ability as per the CAS )
Friday 7/12 the university informed me that the CAS marked as USED
TLS is not giving me even that the application received by UKvI
Still waiting!!!!!!! Wishing to receive something soon , I thought as long as it is used the decision has been made and was expecting but it seems things takes longer , and really dont know whether the CAs marked USED means any positive feedback? And if my family inculeded in such decisions !!

Will update once I receive any information!!

Hello there
I’ve done my embassy interview on 2nd January . (Priority service) , on the same day I got message that application is transferred in ukvi , Next day I got mail from Sheffield that my application is in uk decision making centre on 3rd January . However
The visa officer ask me around 19/20 questions
And I think I answered it well
But the thing is the visa officer didn’t ask me about my financial sponsorship questions, also he didn’t ask me about accommodation related questions . So what does it means , will they call me for second interview ? Someone please tell me is it mandatory to asking about father income and father financial sponsorship questions in order to issuing visa ? Anyone got visa without asking those questions? And the asked questions are : 1)Date of birth
2)The course details
3) course modules
4) describes the course modules
5) why this course
6) what is my future plan
7) why uk
8 ) about salary
9)describe the salary in pound
tell me the name of company u want to join after llm
10)do u apply for job there (my mentioned law firm)
11)why this university

12) nationality
13) my course type (postgraduate or undergraduate)
14) why this particular institution
