Police registration - dependant forgot to update new.passport

Post by Irakli » Sat Dec 08, 2018 5:19 am

Dear all,

I am on tier 2 sponsorship visa with dependant on me, he got new passport last year around this time. I just realised he didnot update about this police, he was 4 months out of the UK - we totally forgot :(. His old passport is STILL VALID though, basically he has two valid passports.
We are close to depressed now as we are eligible for ILR next year what could you advise? Will he get his ILR refused? Shall he go to police station and update info after 1 year?

Many thanks

The police are usually sympathetic and understanding.

UPDATE:

Our local office told us to visit OVRO for passport change. Hoping for the best
