'Family in the UK' visa question

Post by Tosh119 » Wed Dec 05, 2018 8:54 pm

Hi,

I'm applying for my tier 2 visa, and it asks if I have family in the UK. I have a brother, sister-in-law, and niece on tier 2. Do they count as immediate family if they are not dependents and if I'm not their dependent? I'm not joining anyone, and my visa will be totally separate from anything to do with them. Will my application affect their visas at all if I include them?

You need to mention about them. It wouldn't impact their visa.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.
