Regarding IHS fees -pls advise

Post by Kiamittal » Thu Dec 13, 2018 10:21 pm

Hi,

I got my first tier 2 general visa from my first employer in 2014 and biometric card had dates from 30/06/2014 to 15/06/2019. I had to change to another employer. I left the first employer 31st Oct 2015.

My second employer issued a cos where start date was 28/12/2015 and end date 27/12/2018. My tier 2 general visa was issued and biometric card had dates 26/11/2015 to 10/01/2019. My present company has given me a new cos for extension with work start date from 11/01/2019 to 11/01/2022.

I have submitted the application today but have appointment using the new ukvcas service next week using the priority service.

When I was paying for the health surcharge fee, I calculated start work date from 11/01/2019 until 29/06/2020 ( a total of six years from the date I was issued first issued tier 2 general in 2014) and have paid only £300. I haven’t used the end date on the current cos and haven’t paid £600.

I am not sure if I have done a mistake by paying £300 and not £600? Will it affect my visa extension application resulting in refusal? Is there any way it can be rectified if I have done a mistake by paying £300?

Pls advise. It would be of great help to me.

Thanks
Kia

You will be fine with £300, i have applied my dependent visa for 3 years category but with the end date resulting 2 years and only paid £400 and got her visa without any issues.

Even if you have to pay 600£, they will contact you for the remaining payment.

i am also changing sponsor now, and i have actually paid £100 extra i.e mentioned end date so total visa will be 6 years + 6 months just to see what the end date will be on my BRP.

Hi,

Thank you for letting me know. I was quite worried after the payment.
