Flrm carrer route

Post by Syedalisia » Tue Oct 30, 2018 8:22 pm

Hi everyone,
I came to uk on spouse visa carrer route, because my wife receiving carrer allowance, child benefit, child tax credit, disability living allowance, house benefit income support. My question is i am applying for 2nd application so i have to submit same requirements as we submitted for 1st application? Do i need to show my work? I have 5 months left on expiring my visa,
My 2nd question is we did inform income support when i came to uk but couldn't inform child tax credit hrmc becauce my wife thought income support could tell them, but after 4 months of my arriving we found out that we have to tell them too. My wife rung them and explained the situation but they said that they have overpayments and they will deduction from child tax credit money. They didnt that time but they are reducing now. We rung them they said to us that untill feb they will give us 123£ instead 143£. And i am submitting application in april. So does it affect on my circumstances or not? Sorry my english is not good. Thanks

If you earn more than £18,600 then just show your salary to meet financial requirement.

If not, then you can use wifes benefits but you will need to calculate adequate maintenance.

You will need to show paperworks of being eligible for benefits from benefit authorities and at least one bank statement during the last 12 months.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Have you declared your own earnings to the benefits issuing office :?:

Have you actually used the adequate maintenance calculator to see if you meet the requirement?

Thats just income but expenditure. Use the calculator to see if your income is greater than your outgoings?

Use the formula in the guidance link I sent you.

income benefits are as follow
all per week
dla allowance 108.25
carer allowance 64.60
child benefit 20.50
child tax credit 152.00 ( they deducting overpaid so i am not 100% sure how much is it)
housing benefit 110
total net income per week £455.35
my housing costs are as follow

rent £110
council tax £14.00
total housing cost £124.00
i have two children one is in university who got loan so i am not getting any benefit behalf of her now, for one child i m receiving benefits.
1)an amount for a couple=£114.85 per week
2)an amount for one child 66.90 per week
3)family premium per week 17.91
total weekly 199.66
my total net income is 455.35 per week and taking housing costs, it equates to 323.66
therefore it would be above the total weekly rate on the income support..my wife receing income support 44.50 but i have include that...

is this ok? we have saving of 6000£ in kids account too. plz correct me if anything wrong thank u so much
