3 years annual account (unaudited report)

Post by Lusokeung » Tue Dec 18, 2018 8:07 pm

Hi

I am planning to submit extension application in Apr 2019. I have already got two years (16/17 and 17/18 tax year) annual accounts and corporate tax return for now.

The company usually submits the annual account to HMRC just before the due date (ie in Dec of every year). It seems hard to push accountant to provide the third year annual account by Apr 2019.

Is it possible to submit the management account (P&L and balance sheet) instead but without corporate tax return for the third year?

Thank you!

Supplement:

My 2016/2017 annual account has already shown my investment GBP200K and I am director of the company.

You only need one set of accounts so the 16/17 accounts is sufficient
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Hi Marcnath

Thank you so much for your reply.

Is my latest 17/18 corporate tax return (showing company registration number and tax reference number) good enough to fulfill the following requirement according to the T1E guidance:

Business activity: specified documents

(ii) HM Revenue & Customs’ confirmation or equivalent evidence that the company is
registered for corporation tax (if you are a director of the company), or that you are
making tax returns within the self-assessment tax system (if you are a member of a
partnership),
