Do I need to tell UKBA if I renew my passport?

Hi,
I have Tier-2 general visa valid till march 2021. My dependents also have tier-2 general dependents visa valid till march,2021. BRP card( no 30 day valid vignette in passport) was issued as tier-2 Visa was extended while we are in UK when we extended the visa.

My dependents are planning to go to India in Jan,2019 and will come back to UK by end of April,2019.
I noticed one of my dependent Indian passport will expire in first week of April,2019. So I am planning to renew my dependent passport at India before travelling back to UK. I don't want renew Indian passport of my dependent at UK as we have short time to do that.

Will there be an issue while entering in to UK with new passport renewed at India along with old passport and BRP card issued with old passport?

Can any one help me by clarify the above query please.

Should not be a problem. However, keep both the passports while traveling.

I'm led to believe that it needs to done via :

On there it says :

Other changes you must report
You must report any other changes to the details you gave in your BRP application, including if:

As you would have given your old passport during your initial application.

I don't think you need to report, you just need to take it with you !

You HAVE TO report change in passport number.
They MIGHT let you in with old passport kept with new one but they do not have to.

Why risk it?
