Re: Tier1 Stamped

Post by chakde23 » Wed Jun 04, 2008 2:33 pm

Hi Shravan,

Do you know when did you submit public funds page ( 34 ) , was it before 14th May ( your approval date ) ? or was it between your approval date & stamping date ( 28th May ) ?

I am trying to understand my situation as I was told to email page 34 on this monday - 2nd june .....Does it mean it may have been approved and waiting for stamping or was it about to be approved around 2nd June ?

Any thoughts ?

shravan_krish wrote:Hi All,

I am new to this forum and here by I would like to share the good news that I have got my Tier1 General app stamped last week.

Here are the details:

Applied on: 15th Apr 08
Fee Debited: 17th Apr 08
AppRef: PB3028****
Approved on:14th May 08 (as on letter)
Stamped on: 28th May 08 (as on stamping)
Docs Receieved: 31 May 08

Note: I forget to declare the public funds section for which they sent me back that particular page and which took an additional weeks time or otherwise I should have got it much earlier.
As this comes under different section I forgot to declare :)! anyway this should not be an excuse (lol)

So take time and verify it twice before u apply so that u avoid these overheads

To folks who all are eagerly awaiting and to those who r all abt to apply, ALL THE VERY BEST.

Regards,
Sarav

true, it is really depressing to keep waiting for an unknown date.
thanks to the forum, it cheers us up when we know someone has got an approval today.

tried calling today. same reply. Urgent treatment fax received, case still under consideration. Hope things work out soon for all of us.

good luck

Hi Dinesh,

NO news at all. Emailed the agent, they are like the most unprofessional profession anyone can get!! they even lost our birth certificate before submission.

now, we might have to waste £400 for nto being able to attend the wedding this friday. really upset.

no news im afraid :(

Hi,

We sent the birth cert to the solicitors/agent for them to submit to HO. They then saw it was in Malay and sent it back to us for translation BUT to "save their costs", they put it on second class recorded.

As "efficient" as the HO, Royal Mail indeed then lost the birth certificate.
We were so furious as we had to ask parents all the way at home, queue up get another birth cert, get translated and couriered it all the way here.

that itself took almost 4 days.

Apparently the solicitors said we needed birth certificate as a proof of identity in addition to the passport. hence, us sending the originals.

they are sooooo unprofessional, we had to chase them everyday to update us the status of the post as they have stupidly post it using 2nd class.

not only that, when we ask re the status, she just said, the standard time is now 6-8wks. wtf, seriously, they are really not worth 700quid!!!

I too applied through an agent. I submitted all my originals to the agent on the 9th of april. Looks like they sent it out quite late. The HO recd on 25th april. Money charged on 28th april. When i called on 10th may, they told i did not even have a reference number. Finally got a reference number on 21st May after calling HO a couple of times.

Called HO on 28th May and told them i need to go to India on 21st june.
They told there is no urgent treatment procedure as yet for Tier 1. But I could fax them a request letter for them to consider my application.

I did that on the 29th May. When i called on Monday, they told system not updated, so don't know they have got the fax or not. Today when i called, they have got the fax and are dealing with my application.
