Hi,
My Mrs came to UK in November 2016. She initially passed A1 English exam in Pakistan prior to applying for UK visa. She is now in UK and her visa in expiring in July 2019. I am in process to book her A2 exam which I think is the requirement to extend her stay as Spouse of British Citizen. Can someone please advise if below link is what we should book:
https://www.trinitycollege.com/site/?id=3600
Is there any hints/tips to pass this exam? How difficult is this?
Regards

Your link is the website I also reached and that is the same test my wife took for her first extension after 2.5years on a spouse visa. We are hopefully applying for the extension in new year.

Search A2 level from the list and if possible then preferably do B1.

Hi Seagul,
Why B1 if A2 is the requirement for FLRM? What is the benefit?

Doesn’t the B1 expire after 2 years and therefore would need to be retaken at the 5 year period?

It does but if it is a test on the list and HO approved test provider and used for a previous applocation, it can still be used.

I checked with Trinity college and they confirmed it that UKBA will not accept a result older than 2 years so If my Mrs do the B1 now for extension then it not be used again in 3 years time.
Has anyone came across failing this exam?
