Spouse Visa Carers Allowance

Post by AnwarHussain » Sun Dec 23, 2018 11:35 am

Can someone help me please...

Hello everyone I hope you are all well.

I have a 9 year old son he is also a british citizen. I brought him from Bangladesh in July 2018 to UK to live with me because of his health.

I need to apply for spouse visa (for my wife) and I wanted to know do I exempt from financial requirements £18,600. I get Carers Allowance (£66.40) weekly for looking after my elderly father. I also get support for 1 child £277.08 Monthly and child benefit £82.80 monthly. Do I need to show any saving? If yes how much.
 I'm the sponsor.

Me and my son live in my parents house and I don't pay rent.

THANK YOU.

Hello everyone I hope you are all well and happy New year to you and your family(:

Can someone help me please...

I have a 9 year old son he is also a british citizen. Recently I brought him from Bangladesh to UK to live with me because of his health condition.

I need to apply for  spouse visa (for my wife). I am receiving  Carers Allowance (£66.40) weekly for looking after my elderly father since 2016. I also get support for 1 child £277.08 Monthly and child benefit £82.80 monthly.
I work part time and get paid £115 a week.

My 1s tquestion is do I exempt from financial requirements £18,600 ?

 2) Caiming Housing benefit will it affect spouse visa?

3) I have no saving will it cause any problem.

Thank you for your help much appreciated🤗

Hi, seems like you exceed the amount. If i am right the amount you need to be receiving for you and your child should be 199.10p weekly. This is after any rent/ council tax. I have just applied and have gone down to this same route.

Thank you so much(: all the best to you and your spouse. I hope you get quick and positive response and happy New year to you both(:

Can you help me with appendix 2 form please there's few question I don't understand...

Do I skip part 3 and go to Part 4?

And
4.1 What is your sponsor’s present work, job or occupation?
If unemployed please state ‘Unemployed’ and go to 4.10

Do I write I'm a Carer? Or do I skip to 4.10

4.3 What is the name of the company your sponsor works for?

THANK YOU!
