passport required for travelling

Hi everyone
just want to know before I am doing my application for citizenship if i need to send my moroccan passport or not . as i will need it to travel also my permanent residence card .
i have a driving license as ID but I am not sure if this acceptable or not .
so please can anyone advise ,do i have to send my passport with my PRC or not ? also how long takes the process ?

If you do postal application then you have to send in your original documents and it can take months before you get them back.
Do online and UKVCS and you will keep your travel documents.
