Dear Experts ,
me , my wife and 1 dayghter 6 years old are going to apply for ILR from tier2 general in jan 2019.
regarding proof of cohabitation
is barclays bank account statement and barclays credit card statement considered 1 source or 2 different source bu uk home office case workers ( any guidance explains this ) ?
if you talk to people in baclays bank branch they say barclays card is different company

Caseworker are not experts and they likely will consider both statements are one source as they are from the same bank.
You can provide council tax bill with both you and your wife name on it, as the other source.
I am not a lawyer or immigration advisor. My statements/comments do not constitute legal advice.

why is this even an issue of concern ?????
you have to provide so many documents ... the total source is always going to be more than 3 ...if you cant manage more than three sources then you have very impossible narrow life...you have many different utility bills council bills bank statements government based documents (tax office etc) letters even immigration letters.. .....so much..
yes it is safe and best to assume that all barclays documents is one source even though they say its a different company.
Hope this helps
Good luck

Ahhh the front office staff - amazing creatures! It is not a separate or different company, it is merely a separate entity belonging to the same Banking Group, those buffoons should know better. Anyhow, this doesn't help you as caseworkers are as moronic as those front office staff - they will definitely treat as the same company / source
can some body explain this ?

Hi,
How many u need? I believe 3?
How about
1. Bank statemnets
2. phone bills/utility bills
3. Same doctor/ surgery. Letter from doctor
4. DVLA. Even if u both hold provisional, it will serve the purpose
5. Lease agreement. u can get it redrafted.
6. Council tax with both of ur names
7. Old HO reference letters
8.Electoral office letter
I have not gone through it and obviously seniors can advise better.

Yes, it does.

TV license usually has the name and address and the “Valid Until” date on it.
So it runs for 12 months.
Is it still valid?
I am not sure if the document should be valid or old but given it has the valid until date its understood it runs for 12 months

Place of issue: Just write Pakistani consulate birmigham.

me , my wife and 1 baby got visa on 22 feb-2014.
we came to uk on 12-apr-2014. ( this is my first entry date uk )
if we count 5 years ( minus 28 days ) i qualify to submit my online application on 25jan2019.
Date you first entered the UK
When did you first enter the UK? (Required)
This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started.
if we see above text these are two different things
bcz i first entered uk 12-apr-2014
while i got visa on 22-feb-2014 im submitting this application from point of view of 22-feb-2014 ).

I did my graduation degree from cyprus and it was taught in english
now there are two things :
1. i got a letter in 2014 from my institute which shows that medium of instruction for study was ENGLISH.
2. I also did IELTS in july 2013 .
i presented both above papers in high commission while i was granted visa in 2014.
again in jan-2017 when i applied for visa extension i did not provide any further english language proof ?
do i attach letter from my institute as proof of medium of instructio nwas ENGLISH and attach my IELTS as well ?

You need to prove english at level B1 for your ILR:
https://www.trinitycollege.com/site/?id=3220
Also, dont forget Life in UK
Wait for someone else to confirm if you still can use the cyprus degree and letter

You need NARIC red route OR English B1 test. You don't need both.
If you dont submit anything, you risk a refusal.

actually in 2014 when i applied for tier 2 General i applied for NARIC equivalence but due to some reason NARIC refused to provide me EQUIVALENCE.
to fullfill that NARIC EQUIVALENCE i provided a letter from my institute stating that my MEDIUM OF instruction was ENGLISH.
IN 2013 I also did IELTS GENERAL TRAINING , i also attached that with my application.
in 2017 at time of extension i did not provide any ENGLISH LANGUAGE proof and i got extension.
now i am eligible for ILR from 26-jan-2019 , while filling SET O if i
use my degree as ENGLISH LANGUAGE i have to present NARIC EQUIVALENCE + COLLEGE LETTER ( but NARIC refused me in 2014 so i can not get NARIC equivalence )
i did IELTS IN 2013 , i have that ....... will that be valid still ??
i can also do TRINITY COLLEGE B1 exam now ?
what experts suggest ?

i got 2 uk visa refusals in past
1. uk visit visa refused in december 2002 ( while i was in studying in cyprus )
2. my uk student visa was refused in december 2003 ( while i was studying in cyprus )
now i am eligible for ILR from 26jan2019.
it has been more than 15 years ....... how it can affect my ILR application ?
Do Home Office consider 15 year old visa applications ?

If it had any impact you would not be in UK right now. You got a visa and you are here.
You should declare it and be truthful though.
